Don't ever buy a shaver from Braun

Don't buy a shaver from Braun! When I was young I was happy with my high quality Braun shaver I got from my father. Then I gave one to my 14 year old son. He didn't need to use it much (he is young) and after 1,5 year the shaver is dead. The battery can charge but the engine is dead. Braun customer service tells me that they build the shavers to last (only!) 3-5 years and they offer me DKK 170 as goodwill if I repair it at their repair center (the price is 400 for inspection and postage and maybe they can not repair). I wrote several emails to Braun (P&G Consomer Service) and I did hope - that they - dispite that I did not have the original receipt would repair or replace the shaver as is hardly used and still looks brand new. My conclusion is - Braun makes bad products and I will never buy any Braun product again for myself - or any of my 3 sons. And as I can read on Trustpilot - I'm not the only one with a similar problem. To compare customerservice I have several product from Garmin. Garmin replace without discussion if there is problem with a products as they know about customer-lifetime-value and they now the cost of bad reviews on e.g. Trustpilot and Google. I hope this post with help other people not to buy Braun shavers.

I ordered a beard trimmer and entered…

I ordered a beard trimmer and entered in two addresses one for invoice and one for delivery. It was only when I had paid did I see the delivery was to my home invoice address.
There is only one hour to cancel and you have to register an account before you can cancel. My message to cancel was sent in the evening and was not actioned.
I will now have a product for my sons birthday that will not get there in time.
The process with Braun was tortuous and completely unsatisfactory

1 year extra warranty

I have bought a Silk-épil 9 - Epilator with 6 Extras from Braun and paid for the next day delivery. I have received a confirmation email and a tracking number. After 4 days "tracking" shows "no order". I have contacted them from my Braun account with my name, order number, date, etc. They told me that they couldn't find me. But, I was lucky to get "1 year extra warranty"

I bought Braun multi quick 5 (blender). It's really cool and multifunctional. A great tool to make cheese desserts.

Had bought Braun epilator last…

Had bought Braun epilator last year....within a year it suddenly stopped working....sent it to the customer service in mumbai twice with no results...now here I am writing a review for Braun....hoping for them to finally replace the product...
Or else I have have to take this matter online.

Better off Shaving with a spoon

I have the Type 5513, and I am using it for the second time when it suddenly dies..
I plug in the charger, and check the manual to see the charge time.. first bad news comes around when it says “10 hours of charging gives you 40 minutes of shaving”.
Well nothing to do, I wont be finishing this untill tomorrow.
After around 12 hours in the charger I finally take it out to finish the job. First thing that happens is the shaver not turning on, so get a little confused.. I plug it back in the charger and take it out and it starts with a little issue, but I get to shave a little, untill it just kinda waves in the electricity, and turns off, to not work at all..
So as the header for this review says, I would probably be better off shaving with a spoon.
But I see I am not the only dissatisfied customer, so I just hope future customers are smarter than I was, find this reviewpage and goes for another brand or maybe a spoon.

Model 5514 Came out of the box Dull

Purchase a Braun model 5514 trimmer for around $40. All I can say is this product belongs in the garbage, I don’t know how Braun can afford a 100 day money back guarantee with products this low quality. OUT OF THE BOX The Blades were dull and PLUCKING hairs as opposed to trimming them. Within a very short and disappointing couple weeks the battery completely failed, does not hold a charge for longer than 10 seconds. 100% GARBAGE. And they don’t tell you you need all original
Packaging, the paper receipt and original packaging inserts that came with the trimmer to return it for the money back guarantee. BUY ANOTHER BRAND.

Braun S3 wet/dry

Got a razor. S3 wet/dry for my partner.
Read some reviews for it before buying and should of taken note. Some reviews said the battery didn’t last long and you can’t use it dry whilst plugged in to the mains.
Had it 6 months and guess what the battery has given up, now a total waste if money.
Never again would I buy from this company

First time using slik-epil 9

First time using slik-epil 9, and I love it. I can go for days before I have to do it again. Makes life so much easier. It does take a little time to get use to the hair being plucked out, but you do adjust.

Worthless piece of plastic

Braun 5516 is worthless piece of plastic. It needs hours to be charged and battery last for few minutes. Razors aren't sharp at all and you'll need to go through same spot over and over. Doesn't worth a cent!

Braun, just a empty name...

I bought Braun series 9 shaver. After 15 months, stopped working. Did not react to the power button. I found that water had penetrated inside and corroded the motherboard, shorted, and never started. I opened the shaving machine, and customer service told me they couldn't help me because I opened it. How else would I know it wasn't waterproof? The warranty was for 2 years. They refused to fix or help me with anything. It's the worst customer relationship. I will not don't buy Braun products for life. Not worth the money. I better buy the cheap one, and I will use it more and more.

Braun series 9 to shave my head...

I have had the braun series 9 razor for a year now and I have used it to shave my head and my face. It has done a remarkable job and I haven't had to change any part of the razor due to wear and tear. I know the razor wasn't made to shave someone's head but I had to give it a try after I shave my face for the first time and saw how amazing of a job it did. After trying it on my head for the first time, I knew there was no turning back and hope that the blades and motor wouldn't burn out on me. It didn't and it is still going strong to this day.
Thank you Braun for having made this razor and helping me to solve a problem I was dealing with for years. Keep up the good work.
